"I can't tell you how many times I've gotten roped into the old argument, "Which scares you more, the werewolf or the mummy?"  I've never made any bones about it--the werewolf!  Okay, I hear you saying, "But the mummy just keeps on coming."  Hey!  You can outrun the mummy, but you're not going to outrun a werewolf, okay?  They're fast, they're clever, and they exist to rip you to shreds!  It was with that delicious sense of anticipatory terror that I tore into Tracy Jones' novel about a young woman, Sophia Miller, who doesn't know that she is descended from werewolves.  When her grandfather dies and she goes to London to claim her inheritance, she finds that her grandfather's will requires that she and her cousin, Karl, reside in her grandfather's spooky old castle for one month in order to collect.  When a mysterious man with connections to Sophia's family arrives, Sophia finds passions stirring...and something else stirring as well!  Sexy, gothic and downright scary, Tracy Jones has written a cracking good novel about werewolves, putting an original new spin on werewolf lore.  Get yourself a giant bag of Cheetos and kick back with SCENT OF THE WOLF.  I loved it and so will you.  Way to go, Tracy!"

"...the more I read, the more curious I became. Not to give anything away, but werewolves have always been kind of a mystery to me. This novel answers some of the questions I have always had about them.  I recommend readers of dark, gothic mysteries to pick this one up. It is a tale of family secrets, werewolves and legends with a twisted ending."

Forget all you've learned about werewolves. These are a new breed. They will haunt you long after you close the book and consign it to your shelf until you're ready to take it down and read it again. It's that good.

Tracy Jones is obviously a seasoned writer. SCENT OF THE WOLF is an eerie gothic tale that has twists and turns at every corner. The castle is spooky and the werewolves down right scary. All the characters are mysterious, from the main characters, Sophia, Karl and Peter, down to the solicitor, and even the maid. This reader felt like she was sitting by a bonfire on Halloween as the story unfolded and raised goose bumps along her skin. Jones certainly knows how to lead readers through a mystery enticing them every step of the way. SCENT OF THE WOLF is not to be missed.

"...This story reminded me of the old movies and stories I read and watched as a child, how they would make me shiver with dread but delight also. I've enjoyed reading Ms. Jones's story, her characters are well defined and you feel the horror that Sophia feels at finding out about the curse to her family and herself. The author has given us, the readers, another look at shapeshifters than the ones we are used to. If you love gothic stories and horror stories, then this is the book for you."

-Donna, Fallen Angel Reviews

"...Jones is extraordinarily skilled at description and pulling the reader into the mood of her world. Her opening is riveting and the darkness and suspense are maintained throughout the book. Scent of the Wolf captures the classic Gothic theme of werewolves perfectly, and it no doubt will become a favorite with readers. Tracy Jones has penned a very compelling gothic tale, sure to please fans of suspense and light romance."

-Mary, Enchanted in Romance

SCENT OF THE WOLF is a chilling paranormal tale set in the 1800's. Sophia, is an unusually strong woman for that time period. Peter is handsome, mysterious and obviously knows more about the situation in the castle than he's willing to share. The curse of the Mueller family is deliciously mysterious and unsettling. Tracy Jones has taken mystery, suspense, horror and a touch of the paranormal to new heights with her novel SCENT OF THE WOLF.
